Pawsome Nurse

Hola!!

Today I have a very simple card I made combining Simon Says Stamps and Lawn Fawn stamps. I love mixing stamps to create new images, and I think it is a great way to stretch our stamps.

To make this super cute nurse dog, I stamped the Simon Says Stamp “You are pawsome” doggie on Bristol paper with Memento tuxedo black ink and then I added the nurse hat from Lawn Fawn “Get well soon” bird stamp and colored the image with alcohol markers. Then I stamped the band aid with VersaFine onyx black ink and colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens.

For the background panel, I stamped one of the Lawn Fawn “Gingham backdrops” stamps on red cardstock using Memento tuxedo black ink. Then, I trimmed a piece of kraft cardstock and stamped the sentiment with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it using white embossing powder.

Finally, I adhered everything together using double sided tape, and foam tape for the images.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

As you said Beatriz is super cute! The combination of both stamps is adorable, congratulations!

Besides, this lovely dog reminds me my little Fotis, who use to take care of me when I’m sick! They are so alike :D. It might be simple but it is one of my favorites cards!
