This could be Sakura

Hi everyone!

Today I have a card with a very naughty cat that reminds me of my Sakura. So when I saw this fun stamp from La Vida en Scrap, I immediately thought about making this card.

I stamped the images on Bristol paper with VersaFine onyx black ink, colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and fussy cut everything. The cat is from La Vida en Scrap “Dulce Navidad” stamp set, and the tree and the gifts are from Mama Elephant “Pix’s Happy Holiday” and “Reindeer Games” stamp sets, respectively. I added tons of sparkle to the tinsel with Sakura Stardust Clear Glitter pen, and some less to the ornaments, the star and the tree. For the gifts I also used a gold gel pen.

I looooove the sparkle! And the cat is so cute!!

For the floor I stamped the Lawn Fawn “Woodgrain backdrops” stamp on Bristol paper using Memento peanut brittle ink. Then I colored over it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and trim it to look like a hardwood floor. For the striped wall I did some masking with Post-it tape and blended Mama Elephant winter pigment ink on watercolor paper. Then I stamped the sentiment (I used Lawn Fawn “Harold’s ABCs” stamp set) with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it using gold and WOW Red Glitz embossing powders. I think the sentiment is perfect for this  scene!

I mounted the scene using double sided tape and foam tape. I added a white cardstock stripe between the floor and the wall to make a baseboard and I also made a rug using Lawn Fawn “Small stitched ovals” dies on Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Christmas paper. Next, I adhered the scene panel to a Canson Mi-Teintes paper panel, and then attached everything to a card base.  Finally, I added some Glossy Accents to the ornaments and to the star.

I think this scene is so fun! I hope you like it too!

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Sí, nosotros no nos animamos a poner nada de decoración navideña de momento.
