Today I’m sharing my card for the 4th stage of Anna Kossakovskaya‘s CASometry Challenge 3. Randomizer. This week we have to use a random stamp set and the theme for the card must be friendship. My boyfriend selected Lawn Fawn “Lovable legends” stamp set. You may notice that most of my cards for the CASometry Challenge have been made with Lawn Fawn products. Well, that’s because I love Lawn Fawn! Maybe half of my stamps are from Lawn Fawn. But I also think my boyfriend likes Lawn Fawn too, because he is the one who’s picking the stamps for the challenge 😉
To make my card, I stamped the bigfoot on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black ink, and then I mirror stamped the second one using my MISTI and the back of a big solid stamp. As the mirror stamped image is not very clean, I trace over it with a Sakura Black Glaze gel pen. Then, I colored the images with ShinHan Touch Twin brush markers and fussy cut them.
For the background, I used Lawn Fawn “Woodgrain backdrops” stamp set, which I stamped on kraft cardstock using Memento Rich Cocoa ink. Then, I stamped the sentiment using Versamark ink and heat embossed it using gold embossing powder. The word friend is from Lawn Fawn “Science of love” stamp set (I partially stamped the friendship stamp) and the rest of the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn “Yeti, set, go” stamp set.
Next, I die cut an oval using Lawn Fawn “Small stitched ovals” dies and stamped the two dots (they are the cherries from Lawn Fawn “Just for you” stamp set), and the little burst (from Lawn Fawn “Beep boop birthday”) with Versamark ink and heat embossed it using gold embossing powder. Last, I adhered the background panel to a card base using double sided tape, the oval to the background panel, and the bigfoots to the oval using foam tape. I love that it looks like they are hi-fiving! I think they are very cute!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a nice day!
